Info for Debut
In January 2015 Elisabeth Brauss won first prize at the competition 'Ton und Erklärung' in Frankfurt and performed with the Frankfurt Radio Symphony in the finale. This prize is awarded annually by the Cultural Society of the German Economy in BDI; OehmsClassics also presents the prize winner CD each year. The 2015 prize winner obviously has a great career before her: she has already given guest performances at the Konzerthaus in Berlin, the Hamburg Laeiszhalle, the Mariinksy Theatre in St. Petersburg, at the Beethovenfest in Bonn, at the Heidelberg Spring Festival and regularly at the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival and the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Festival. In October 2016 she also won the KlavierOlymp in Bad Kissingen.

Elisabeth Brauss
was born on 19 January 1995 to musical parents and received her first piano lessons at the age of 4.
At the age of 6 she was accepted into the piano class of Dr. Elena Levit, and in 2008 she also began studying in the class of Prof. Matti Raekallio. Since 2010 she is studying at the HMTM in Hanover in the class of Prof. Bernd Goetzke.
In this time, Elisabeth has given numerous concerts as a soloist, chamber musician and as a soloist with orchestra. These have included performances with the hr-Sinfonieorchster, the Bochumern Symphonikern, the Dortmunder Symphonikern, the Macao Youth Symphony Orchestra, the NDR Radiophilharmonie and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen.
Elisabeth Brauß appeared a.o. at the Konzerthaus Berlin, at the Laeisz-Halle in Hamburg, the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg and the Beethovenfest Bonn, at the Heidelberger Frühling as well as at the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival and the Festspiele Mecklenburg-Vorpommern several times.
International concert tours have taken her to China, to the USA, to Norway, the Ukraine and Taiwan.
Apart from first prizes at the “Steinway Piano Competition” in Hamburg and at the “International Grotrian Steinweg Competition” in Braunschweig, she was awarded with the „Emerging Artists Prize of the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival 2010“ and the „Emerging Artists Prize of the Music Prize ´Praetorius`, awarded by the state Lower Saxony 2012“.
In August 2013 she won the TONALi Grand Prix together with the audience prize in Hamburg. As a winner she performed with the Deutsche Kammerphilarmonie Bremen in the Laeisz-Halle Hamburg.
In January 2015 she won the competition „Ton und Erklärung“ in Frankfurt and played together with the hr-Sinfonieorchester.
In 2016 she won the „Kissinger KlavierOlymp“ in Bad Kissingen
For the season 2013/2014 she was receiving a scholarship from the Mozart Gesellschaft Dortmund. In 2014 she was also receiving a scholarship from the “Hans und Eugenia Jütting-Stiftung“ and from the “Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes“.
