“Byssan Lull” is a Swedish lullaby (trad.) Cecilie Strange learned from her husband and his mother which used to sing for him when he was a child. Now Cecilie sings it to her children because, “it is so beautiful”. The sweet, sombre song is sung in clear, vibrant tones by Swedish vocalist Josefine Cronholm. Cecilie adds additional lines as she plays in and out of the basic melody and sets the sombre mood gradually so that the listener is drawn right into the heart of the music.
