Stefanie Heinzmann

Stefanie Heinzmann
was born on 10th March 1989 in Visp, Switzerland.

She began her musical career as a singer at the age of 16. She sang with the band BigFisch from 2005 to 2008. At the same time, she visited the Commercial Secondary School for Artists and Athletes in Brig, where talented young people are free to participate in special projects that encourage their artistic or athletic development.

In 2007, at the urging of her brother Claudio, Stefanie Heinzmann auditioned for Stefan Raab’s casting show, SDSDSSWEMUGABRTLAD, and in early 2008 was more surprised than anyone else when she won the final round with a rendition of ‘My Man Is a Mean Man’. Her song, ‘My Man Is a Mean Man’, stayed on the German charts for nearly half a year (ranking third at its peak); the single went gold. Her debut album, entitled ‘Masterplan’, was released in March 2008. Ranking among the top ten albums for several weeks running, the album also went platinum. In all, the album was among the top 100 for more than a year. The Stefanie Heinzmann singles, ‘Like a Bullet’ (released in April) and ‘Revolution’ also placed well in the charts and are frequently heard on the radio. The Metallica cover, ‘The Unforgiven’, was released in October (top 10).

The album "Roots To Grow" was released for sale in September 2009; the single ‘No One (Can Ever Change My Mind)’ was released in late August 2009 and in 2010 Stefanie Heinzmann embarked on an album tour of Germany and Switzerland. On March 16, 2012 she released her third album entitled "Stefanie Heinzmann".

On March 27, 2015 she presented her fourth album Chance of Rain to public. The Songs were recorded as well as in Nashville.

Stefanie Heinzmann can already look back on a successful career as a musician. She received platin and gold status for her music and received the Swiss Prix Walo, the EinsLive Krone, the Swiss Music Award, the Echo and the Comet. Stefanie Heinzmann toured both domestically and abroad as a festival act. In the studio and on stage, she has already worked with some of the greats of the music industry, such as Tower of Power, Joss Stone, Lionel Richie and Ronan Keating. On television she joined the jury of the "Voice of Switzerland" and the German Popstars adaption.
