Info for Gods Of Metal (Year Of The Dragon)
After their spectacular debut in 2023, followed by successful European tours and festival shows, All for Metal are more than ready to open the next chapter of their journey. Their new album 'Gods of Metal (Year of the Dragon)' leads the warriors into far eastern lands. The dynamic singer duo presents songs about, dragons, samurais and battle that are accompanied with energetic rhythm and catchy melodies.
‘Gods Of Metal (Year Of The Dragon)’, the highly anticipated second album from ALL FOR METAL, will be released on 23 August 2024 via Reigning Phoenix Music (RPM). The subtitle ‘Year Of The Dragon’ honours the Japanese year 2024, which will be celebrated as such. On the album, the band stretches its dragon wings into the air with thunderous instrumental passages and impetuous, rousing choruses.
Vocalist Antonio explains: ‘We've been working on this release for months and we can't wait to start this new adventure in our musical career! Gods Of Metal (Year Of The Dragon) is the album that will establish us in the metal world, and this time we will rock you even harder than on our last album!’
United by their love of classic heavy metal, Tetzel and Antonio joined forces to form ALL FOR METAL. ‘We grew up with bands like MANOWAR, where the audience is overwhelmed by the energy,’ says Tetzel. ‘Strangers lie in each other's arms and fervently belt out the songs. This invisible bond, this connection, is created by the music alone.’ Antonio adds: ‘I've only ever experienced a sense of community like this in the metal scene. With ALL FOR METAL, we want to help pass this on and share it with as many music fans as possible.’
All For Metal
All For Metal
If the mission is so clear, you can - no, MUST - express it unambiguously. And so the metal enthusiasts Tim "Tetzel" Schmidt (known as the singer of the band Asenblut and as a strength athlete and fitness influencer) and Antonio Calanna (singer of the hard rock band DeVicious) have joined forces under the banner of ALL FOR METAL. Both are united by their love of classic heavy metal sounds and the shared vision of bringing them to a new generation of music fans. With great, compact and catchy songs and a committed, highly professional production team behind them, ALL FOR METAL unleash anthemic, straightforward metal that is of international class.
"We grew up with bands like Manowar, at whose concerts the audience is overwhelmed by the energy," says singer Tetzel. "There, strangers lie in each other's arms and belt out the songs with fervor. This invisible bond, this connection, is created solely through music." His singing counterpart Antonio adds: "I have only experienced such a sense of community in the metal scene. With ALL FOR METAL, we want to help pass this on and let as many music fans as possible share in it."
The very first song they pre-produced together, "All For Metal" (introduced in style by heavy anvil blows), with its pounding rhythm, catchy guitar riffs and catchy chorus, is a real hit. It is no coincidence that the line "It's all for Metal - and Metal for all" conjures up a sense of solidarity that connects people across ages and genders.
Euphorized by this early songwriting success, another number, "Born In Valhalla", was created that is no less impressive. In the third song, "Thor Raise The Hammer," folky overtones mix with the catchy, heavy metal sound. The connecting element is again the big chorus - perfectly staged, not least by the experienced producer Hardy Krech (Elephant Music Flensburg; Kissin' Dynamite, Beyond The Black, among others).
It is already clear: Antonio's powerful, melodic metal clear vocals and Tetzel's rather rough voice harmonize perfectly with each other and give this promising new band that certain something. The muscle-hardened giant Tetzel and the charismatic Antonio are supported by masked musicians whose identities are still unknown.
