Info for The Four Seasons: Vivaldi & Piazzolla

Following her resounding success in last year's premiere at Maison symphonique, the violinist Isabella d'Éloize Perron debuts her first cross-country tour hitting all of the major cities on the east coast. This young prodigy is bound to be a performance filled with discovery and delight. Performed alongside the Ensemble Classico-Moderne, Isabella’s rendition of The Four Seasons is a breath of fresh air. Her fiery take on Astor Piazzolla's The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires will immerse audiences in the sensual universe of Argentine tango.

A violinist “full of imagination, whose playing is contagious.” Emmanuel Bernier. Le Soleil

Isabella d’Éloize Perron
now 24 is without a doubt a prodigy. Her spirit and intensity in performance is a testament to her astonishing maturity and authentic musicality. At age 10, she was a soloist with Yannick Nezet-Seguin’s Orchestre Métropolitain. Critic Claude Gingras (La Presse) described her then as “playing with the assurance of a professional, with impetus and accuracy“. Isabella has since appeared in countless performances across Europe, the United States, and Canada.

Francis Choinière
27, is an active force in the Montreal music scene. Awarded the top prize for classical music in Canada, the Goyer Prize, and named to CBC’s list of top classical musicians under 30, he is a versatile artist, conductor, and producer. Choinière has collaborated with many internationally renowned artists as a choral conductor and collaborative conductor for concerts with Andrea Bocelli, Sarah Brightman, Ramin Djawadi, and Hans Zimmer.

As the Artistic Director and conductor of the Orchestre Philharmonique et Chœur des Mélomanes (OPCM), he has successfully programmed major choral and symphonic works at the Maison symphonique de Montréal, including a concert version of Puccini’s Bohème, André Mathieu’s Concerto de Québec with pianist Alain Lefèvre, and Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana. Choinière is also the co-founder of GFN Productions, and the principal conductor and co-artistic director of the FILMharmonic Orchestra, which has presented sold-out productions of The Lord of the Rings in concert, as well as Star Wars, Titanic and Fantasia.

The FILMharmonic Orchestra
made up of world-class Canadian musicians, is Canada’s premier film music orchestra. Since its creation in 2015 by Denis Chabot, the FILMharmonic Orchestra has presented sold-out film concerts every year at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts. Among the films presented in concert are Harry Potter, Amadeus, Star Wars, The Godfather, Gladiator, Titanic, Fantasia, La Passion d’Augustine, Bugs Bunny and Lord of the Rings.
