Under the sign of boldness, this program developed by Benoît Cambreling - famous timpanist of the Orchestre National de Lyon - introduces a new collection of recordings from Artalinna, which involves mirroring the new late twentieth and twenty-first century works to classic music of the last century, such as Eight Pieces for timpani that Elliott Carter wrote in 1950 and 1966 : a foundation stone of the instrument's repertoire, which influenced all other creators of the program, from Toshi Ichiyanagi (Japan) to Solbiati Alessandro (Italy) but also Jean-Pierre Drouet (France).
