Info for LA Trash
Tuneful but glamorously shambolic rock n’ roll band CrashMonkeys came from a primal urge for a pre-pandemic normal, and a desire to reintroduce a lo-fi style of rock that defined primary singer-songwriter, and guitarist Stel Furet’s early years.
CrashMonkeys are fronted by founder Stel Furet who's vocals have been described as a mix of Tom Petty and Mark Lanegan – with a touch of Scott Weiland thrown in for good measure. The bedrock of the band is provided by Travis (T-rex) Dillard who’s drumming drives the experience. A child of the 90s, T mixes the funk of James Gang with the intensity of Travis Barker.

CrashMonkeys
We're broke, tired, and kinda skinny. But we can play. This is straight forward, driven, melodic rock-n-roll. Like from when your mom used to make out with the drummer behind the garage. So steal her car, crank up some CrashMonkeys, and hit the road.
