Info for #3

2012 release, the third album from the Irish Pop trio. #3 finds the band delivering more of its emotionally charged melodic pop. The album follows up 2010's Science & Faith and once again showcases vocalist and The Voice UK judge Danny O'Donoghue.

Also appearing on the album is Black Eyed Peas member will.i.am, who guests on the leadoff single, 'Hall of Fame.' Other songs included on #3 are 'Six Degrees of Separation' and 'If You Could See Me Now.'

On 'Hall of Fame', Mark Sheehan says: 'We wanted to capture as much emotion in the track’s sound as there is in the lyrics, which are definitely some of the most positive and upbeat we’ve ever written.' On working with will.i.am, Danny O’Donoghue says: “We thought it might make a great duet but we wanted to do it line by line, true duet style.”

'The Script's new 10-song set finds the group comfortably entrenched in a spit-polished blend of pop, rap and contemporary R&B styles, with dramatically orchestrated arrangements that mostly resolve in anthemic choruses.' (Billboard)
