Biography Dino Ciani
Dino Ciani (1941-1974)
was born in Rijeka, Croatia. He studied at the Rome conservatory and subsequently with renowned pianist Alfred Cortot. He won the second prize at the Liszt-Bartok competition in 1961 which gave his name prominence. He would go on to record works by Beethoven, Liszt, and Bartok.
