Info for Miles and Miles EP
Pre-release EP "Miles and Miles": Nach ihrem Törn in ruhigen Gewässern im Jahr 2021 schlagen Storm Seeker nun wieder härtere Saiten an.
Storm Seeker
Storm Seeker
Like every band story, the legend of Storm Seeker begins in a stuffy, dark basement. Near the almost forgotten docks of the former Hanseatic city of Neuss, the brothers Timothy and Olaf managed to hire a crew in 2013 that would later become Storm Seeker. After three years of drifting on shallow waters, coming together and drifting apart, the EP Pirate Scum, released in 2016, hit like a cannonball. Accordingly, it didn't take long to embark on the first great voyage across the vast seas of live performances. And Storm Seeker didn't just stay in domestic waters with over 50 gigs! Besides the legendary gigs at the Dong Open Air and the MetalDays in Slovenia, they were able to gain their first experience in foreign climes with gigs in Switzerland and Italy.
The storm that the five-piece crew is looking for by name, however, was to be a blessing. After a line-up change that washed Fabi on deck, the debut album Beneath in the Cold was released in May 2019 and drew the hoped-for response: starting with a revue at the Dong Open Air, Storm Seeker moved from port to port in the summer of 2019 - and even after the festival season, the foray didn't end. In spring 2020, Storm Seeker switched to NoCut Entertainment and celebrated this triumph with several support acts for MonoInc. And even if the sea seemed particularly stormy in 2020, making mooring in familiar ports impossible, Storm Seeker did not become shipwrecked and found a way to navigate the unfamiliar waters. And after all, in addition to participating in the Online Musik Festival - the first of its kind - and increasing their YouTube presence, this allowed the crew to plan their next foray.
So the seven seas may tremble again, because after the successful second album Guns Don't Cry, as well as the acoustic album Calm Seas Vol. 1, which followed in 2022, Storm Seeker are finally setting sail again. Now with a reinforced crew in the form of Paulie on guitar.
