Info zu The Voice of Piano

Seit ihrer frühen Kindheit liebt Carmen Stefanescu klassische Musik und konnte schon als kleine Carmen nicht genug kriegen von Beethoven- und Mozart-Platten, die ihre Mutter – damals beim Rundfunk in Bukarest als Tontechnikerin tätig – mit nach Hause brachte.

Schnell kam auch ein Klavier ins Haus und diese 88 Tasten wurden der Mittelpunkt ihres Lebens und ihre große Liebe.

Seit 2011 lebt und unterrichtet Carmen in Köln. Hier nahm sie ihre erste Solo Album „Kaleidoscope of Life“ auf, hier traf sie die Klarinettistin Pamela Coats, mit der sie das Album „Paris mon Amour“ herausbrachte und hier fand sie zum Ensemble GOLDKORN, mit dem sie genreübergreifend Musik macht, die die Seele berührt.

Für Prospero Classical hat Carmen Stefanescu ein Doppelalbum aufgenommen, mit Stücken, die ihr allesamt am Herzen liegen. Das Doppelalbum ist randvoll gefüllte mit wunderbarer Klaviermusik von Bach/Busoni über Gustav Mahler bis zu Fazil Say.
