Info zu Luminosity

ConnecTrio's first album is named after a piece by contemporary Polish composer Tomasz Golinski: Luminosity - brightness in English. Through the language of music, we embark on a journey to explore the myriad facets of light, what the inner light means, or what the brightness of the world can give. It can be a force that gives security, it can be destructive and dangerous.

The album presents music with classical, art-pop, jazz and folk influences for flute, piano, percussion and voices. These arrangements combined with Kristine Botros work as a producer create a unique sound: authentic, fearlessly daring, pulsating and innovative.

Dominika Ács, flute, vocals
María Valverde, Steinway D model piano, vocals
Veronika T-Potzner, percussion
Gergely Kiss, cello (track 11)

ConnecTrio
This group was founded in 2022 by Dominika Ács, María Valverde and Veronika T-Potzner. Their first project, “for who was not born”, premiered at the Budapest Spring Festival, was recognized with the “Best project” award in the Encore Program of the International Organization of Jeunesses Musicales. Also, received with enthusiasm by public and press. Later on, the premiere of Luminosity in the great Solti Hall would consolidate their unique artistic identity.

They have performed at the Valley of Arts Festival, Margó Festival of Literature Hungary, also in places like CEU, Glass Hall in Müpa, Lumen and others.

“Their charismatic pastiche staged in a large open atrium that gave them space to stretch out and walk into the audience as well, used their formidable skills in a program (…) separated by spoken dramatic texts and striking instrumental numbers.” Alexandra Ivanoff - Papageno Magazine
