Info zu Live At The Ryman

The Red Clay Strays are releasing their first live album, "Live At The Ryman". Recorded during the band’s sold-out, three-night headline debut at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium, the album showcases the group’s electric live performances and features songs from across their catalogue.

The record adds to a breakout year for The Red Clay Strays, who are nominated for Vocal Group of the Year at the upcoming 58th Annual CMA Awards (their first CMA nomination), won Emerging Act of the Year at the 2024 Americana Music Association Honors & Awards and released their acclaimed new album, Made by These Moments, earlier this summer.

Produced by Grammy Award-winning producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell), Made by These Momentsis filled with the band’s signature genre-blending sound, as they meld electric rock and roll with southern soul.

One of music’s fastest rising bands, The Red Clay Strays have spent much of the past year on the road, selling out every one of their headline shows in 2024. The band will continue to perform through this fall with upcoming stops in Los Angeles, Denver and San Diego as well as several dates across Australia, Canada and Hawaii next year. See below for complete tour itinerary.

The Red Clay Strays are Brandon Coleman (lead vocals, guitar, keys), Drew Nix (electric guitar, vocals, harmonica), Zach Rishel (electric guitar), Andrew Bishop (bass) and John Hall (drums). Formed in Mobile, AL in 2016, the group continues to achieve massive success with their Platinum-certified single, “Wondering Why.” With over 100 million streams to date, the track spent a week at #1 on Spotify’s Viral 50 USA Playlist and six-consecutive weeks at #1 on the Americana Singles chart. The song also reached #84 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, #7 on Billboard’s Hot Rock Songs chart, #16 on the Billboard AAA chart and #18 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and continues to gain support across genres.

“Wondering Why” is from the band’s 2022 album, Moment of Truth, of which Billboard praised, “Lead singer Coleman’s gruff, impassioned vocal shines here as always, bolstered by the group’s exemplary musicianship,” while Rolling Stonedeclared, “the musical manifestation of the push and pull between salvation and redemption…Delta blues, gritty honky-tonk, and Sun Records rockabilly, shot through with a palpable darkness.” Since the release, The Red Clay Strays have also made their Grand Ole Opry debut and toured extensively across the country including shows with Dierks Bentley, Eric Church, Elle King and Turnpike Troubadours.

“a haunting callback to classic outlaw country with a rock ‘n’ roll edge” — NPR Weekend Edition

“refreshingly muscular and redemptively soulful” — Rolling Stone

“Country meets rock, making the perfect blend of genres” — Billboard

“Made by These Moments is immediately compelling, all at once fiery and forgiving, hellbent and heavenly” — No Depression

The Red Clay Strays
Hailing from the red dirt clay of Mobile, Alabama, the Red Clay Strays have spent the past year trailblazing their musical path across the nation by bringing their unique blend of tunes to stages ranging from the intimate to the large-scale in small towns and big cities all over the country. Amidst the success of their debut album Moment of Truth, the seasoned band of road warriors has kept pedal to the metal as of late making major festival appearances at HWY 30 Fest, Bonnaroo, Peacemaker Festival, Under the Big Sky, Mile-0 Fest, Lollapalooza, and CMA Fest, as well as opening for esteemed acts including Kip Moore, Nikki Lane, Old Crow Medicine Show, Paul Cauthen, Brothers Osborne, and The Steel Woods. Throughout their 2023 tenure of live performances, the band has rightfully continued to garner industry attention by touring alongside notable hit-makers such as Elle King, Dierks Bentley, and Eric Church. And the industry is certainly noticing–after a jam-packed summer tour that catapulted them onto the fast track of becoming a household name. The band was welcomed to walk into the circle at the Grand Ole Opry, culminating lifelong dreams no doubt a result of the years of hard work and drive spent honing their craft. This Fall, the Red Clay Strays prepare to continue cementing their well-deserved status as one of America’s fastest-rising bands and taking the world by storm with their first major headlining tour, the Way Too Long Tour. With their explosive chemistry on stage and eclectic rock-n-roll sound that is distinctively their own, they’re bound to burn stages down everywhere.
