Tassis Christoyannis
is highly sought after for roles in Italian and French opera repertoire. He has also built up an outstanding reputation as a French Melody performer.

Born in Athens, he studied piano, singing, conducting and composition at the Athens Conservatoire.

As a member of the Greek National Opera company, he sang Belcore (l’Elisir d’amore), Don Carlos (Ernani), Papageno, Conte Di Luna (Il Trovatore), Figaro (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Guglielmo (Cosi fan Tutte), Eugene Onegin etc…

Nicole Car
has established herself as one of the leading sopranos of her generation and has become a fixture at many of the top houses around the world. Often praised for her beautiful, rich timbre and her unique musicality, Nicole was recently made a Chevalier de l’ordre des arts et des lettres de la république de France.

During the 25/26 season Nicole debuts all three leading heroines in Puccini’s Il Trittico with Wiener Staatsoper and after her successful role debut as Dvořák’s Rusalka at Opera Australia this summer, she brings the title heroine to Opéra National de Paris as well as Wiener Staatsoper. Nicole also returns to her Verdian repertoire by reappearing at The Dallas Opera for Elisabetta in Don Carlo and Deutsche Oper Berlin for Amelia in Simon Boccanegra. She also brings her signature role of Mimì in La bohème to Opéra National de Paris and Wiener Staatsoper. On the concert stage she will be heard as Ellen Orford in Peter Grimes at the Het Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, as a soloist for a gala concert honoring the memory of Jodie Devos with the Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège and will perform Berlioz's Les Nuits d'été with The Finnish National Opera Orchestra.

Nicole’s discography includes two solo albums The Kiss (ABC Classics) with The Australian Opera & Ballet Orchestra and Heroines (ABC Classics) with the Australian Chamber Orchestra. She has also recorded André Messager’s Passionnément (Palazzetto Bru Zane), Massenet: Songs with Orchestra (Palazzetto Bru Zane) and Brahms’ Ein Deutsches Requiem (ABC Classics).

Nicole was the first prize recipient of the 2013 Neue Stimmen Competition and the 2012 Australia Opera Awards and was nominated for Best Young Singer at the 2015 International Opera Awards. She won the Best Female Performer in an Opera category at the 2018 Helpmann Awards. She is currently the co-artistic director of L’Institut Canadien d'Art Vocal (ICAV) alongside her husband, operatic baritone Etienne Dupuis.

Julien Dran
Grandson and son of opera singers, Julien Dran began his musical training at an early age. He studied piano and horn, then voice at the Conservatoire de Bordeaux with Malcolm Walker, Pierre Catala and Lionel Sarrazin, before intergrating the CNIPAL in Marseille for the 2007/2008 season, where he made his stage debut.

He is a prizewinner in several competitions, including the Concours international de chant de Clermont-Ferrand in 2009 and the Julian Gayarre Singing Competition in Pamplona in 2011. He was also honored at the Paris Opera Awards in 2012.

Mihhail Gerts
Combining expressive charm, clear technique and meticulous attention to detail, Mihhail Gerts has recently drawn attention for successful debuts with the Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Staatskapelle Dresden, BBC Symphony Orchestra and Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France.

With a passion for the music of his native Estonia, Gerts is Founder and Artistic Director of the TubIN Festival, honouring the work and legacy of Estonian refugee Eduard Tubin. 2025 marks the 120th anniversary of Tubin’s birth and in celebration, Gerts and the festival will explore the composer’s earlier works. Other engagements this season include with Munich Radio Orchestra, Opéra de Saint Étienne and BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra.

Last season Gerts conducted RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland, Munich Radio, Estonian National Symphony, Bournemouth Symphony, BBC Scottish Symphony and Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestras. Other recent highlights include with Latvian National Symphony, Gulbenkian, Ulster and Odense Symphony Orchestras, George Enescu Philharmonic, Dortmunder Philharmoniker and Orchestre National de Pays de la Loire, in repertoire ranging from Monteverdi to world premieres by Signe Lykke and Tovio Tulev, via Bach, Brahms, Ravel, Prokofiev and Arvo Pärt.

Gerts spent his formative years as Resident Conductor of Estonian National Opera (2007–14) during which time he conducted over 40 different productions, followed by a period as Deputy GMD of the Hagen Theater (2015–17). As a guest he has conducted opera productions at Teatro la Fenice, Teatro delle Muse, Opera de St-Etienne and Belarus National Opera, with repertoire ranging from Mozart and Verdi to lesser-known works such as Clémence de Grandval’s Mazeppa.
