Miguel Ulla
Born on 1-12-2000 in A Coruña, Spain. He began his musical training at the age of 7 at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Coruña (CMUS) where he studied percussion, singing and harpsichord with Fernando Lopez Pan. During this stage, she joined the Galician Symphony Orchestra's Children's Choir (OSG's Children's Choir) as a white voice, where she was a soloist on numerous occasions until she changed her voice. After finishing the Professional Degree, she continued her higher studies in the speciality of Historical Singing at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC, in Barcelona), with the maestro Lambert Climent. Later, she moved to the capital of Spain to continue her training at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música de Madrid (RCSMM) in the same speciality of Historical Singing, with Carlos Mena and Lucia Caihuela. Her development as a soloist singer began at the age of 15, under the tutelage of baritone Fernando Balboa and Charo Quicler Cruz, in her hometown, La Coruña. Some time later, and from 2020, she continued her vocal training with the countertenor and conductor Gérard Lesne, with whom she continues to receive stylistic and technical lessons.
From 2022, her training continues to be completed thanks to the contralto Sonia Prina, with whom she has been able to take part in masterclasses in Italy. Currently, she continues to improve her skills with her two teachers Sonia Prina and Gerard Lesne. During all these years, he also participated in different meetings and masterclasses where he received numerous lessons to bring new approaches to his musical training. Thanks to Filippo Mineccia, Flavio Ferri Benedetti, Luca Guglielmi, Marta Infante, Eduardo Lopez Banzo, Xavier Sabata, Emilio Sagi, Marta Knörr, Daniel Muñoz, Mercedes Hernandez, Jorge Enrique García Ortega, Fernando Reyes, Javier Artigas and Manuel Burgueras, she has been able to enrich her knowledge of singing, stage, interpretation, repertoire and, of course, vocal technique.
As a soloist singer, she has performed with various Early Music groups in Spain, including her recurring participation with the group Resonet. In 2021, she founded the group La Spagnoletta, which premiered with the cycle "Espazos Sonoros 2022", which is still active. In 2023, together with the specialist in historical keyboard Carlos Orejas Gomez, he created the duo "Dolci Partimenti", dedicated at the beginning only to Italian sacred music from 1650 to 1750, and nowadays the group continues but with a different cast depending on the programme.
Fernando Reyes
began his musical training as a child singer in the choristers' school of the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela.
He specialised in ancient plucked string instruments at the Conservatory of Toulouse (France) and at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Trossingen (Germany) with Rolf Lislevand.
As an instrumentalist he is intensely involved in concerts and recordings as a solo performer or accompanist throughout all of Europe. He has also composed and conducted music for a series of theatrical works, and has published several articles on ancient music, music guides and CD books.
He has offered numerous seminars, courses and conferences in different uniersities and teaching centres throughout Europe.
He was teacher at the Early Music Course in Vivoin (France) and in the ESMAE (Superior Music School) in Porto (Portugal)
Fernando Reyes created Gaudia in 2010 in order to carry out recording projects with freedom in the entire process.
