Carry You On is a compelling collection of story-based songs from noted singer-song¬writer Marcus Goldhaber, created to bridge the disconnect between civilians and military veterans through music. The styles are diverse, but the mission is clearly unified. Known for his vivid songwriting and intimate approach to The American Songbook, Goldhaber has crafted new windows into the everyday lives of veterans and their families.

From musicals to straight plays and Jazz clubs to concert halls, Goldhaber continues to win crowds over with his authenticity and passion for audience connection.
His songwriting and intimate approach to The American Songbook have garnered attention from Jazztimes, labeling Marcus as “Wonderfully imaginative,” while Jazziz says he is “exciting and fresh” and All About Jazz simply proclaims, [Marcus is] “like a plate full of comfort food!”
Marcus has performed all over NYC including Carnegie Hall, 54 Below, Blue Note, Iridium, Birdland, Kitano, & The Cutting Room. Goldhaber has appeard nationally at The Lied Center (KS), The Count Basie Theatre (NJ), The Smith Center (Las Vegas), The RRazz Room (PA), Milford Arts Council (CT), Century Village (FL) and World Café Live (PA). His residencies include NYC’s Renaissance Hotel, Benjamin Hotel and The Night Hotel.
Marcus has been a featured singer in Will Friedwald’s “Sinatra-thon” along with Joe Muccioli’s Sinatra Birthday Bash (w/Deanna Martin, Donny Most & The Red Bank Jazz Orchestra) and co-starred in the recent off-broadway hit, “The Wonderful Wizard of Song” (music of Harold Arlen).
His 5 CD’s (Fallen Apple Records) have all received noteworthy press, including a 4-star review from PEOPLE Magazine saying, “Goldhaber will have you giddy one moment, melancholy the next and loving every note.” Marcus has also been featured by Jonathan Schwartz on WNYC and Sirius XM saying, “Goldhaber is excellent…[he’s] filled with ideas!”
A proud supporter of our veterans and active duty service members, Marcus raised $70K on Kickstarter to record “Carry You On,” a collection of original patriotic songs aimed at strengthening the relationship between civilians & military veterans. With 50% of album sales going to benefit Iraq Afghanistan Veterans of America (iava.org) and strong partnerships with Backpacks For Life (backpacksforlife.org), United War Veterans Council (uwvc.org) and NYC Veterans (nycveterans.org), this project has inspired national momentum around it’s mission to #bridgethegap.
