Gondwana is the album of the musician and composer Alegre Corrêa. Result of an intense work of composition and arrangements, Gondwana merges different sounds to connect Brazil, Africa and Europe. The diversity presented in the album comes from the experience and from these three continents that are connected by the musicians of the group. From Africa, Alune Wade (bass/vocal) brings the tribal melodies, complexity and beauty of African rhythms. From Europe, Gerald Preinfalk (sax/clarinet) brings elements from different eras of the classical music. From South America, Alegre Corrêa, Fagner Wesley (piano), Gabriel Grossi (harmonica) and Matheus Jardim (drums) bring the diversity of Brazil, a cosmopolitan and popular sound.
