Info for From Zimmer to Strauss

At first glance, Hans Zimmer and Johann Strauss might seem like worlds apart, yet they are closer than one might think.

This spectacular production, which marked the world premiere of The Limitless Orchestra, was recorded at the Dubai Opera. Under the direction of its founder, Aleksey Igudesman, the ensemble presents a unique blend of virtuosity, movement, theatricality, and sheer joy in performance, interpreting the music of these two legendary composers in entirely new ways.

Strauss meets Latin American rhythms and Oriental melodies, while Zimmer’s music from *The Da Vinci Code*, *Sherlock Holmes*, and *Inception* is reimagined in completely unexpected ways. Hans Zimmer, who supports the orchestra as its musical patron, appears as a special guest and joins the ensemble for the grand finale with the *Inception Variations*—a rousing journey through waltz, tango, Celtic music, hard rock, Bollywood, and rap.
