Co-written by Morgan alongside Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line and hit songwriter Jordan Schmidt, “Kid Myself” tells the story of a love left behind due to immaturity and self-doubt. “It was the first time I ever wrote with Tyler Hubbard, and I was so nervous,” Morgan shared. “I knew I had to bring a strong idea to the session, or I might never get the chance again. Thankfully, ‘Kid Myself’ resonated with Tyler and Jordan, and we created something really special. It’s about a relationship that could have been ‘the one’ if I had been ready for it—but ultimately, it’s about self-forgiveness.”
