The track was partly inspired by her autistic daughter Eloise, with the sunflower marking the symbol of empathy and inclusivity for hidden disabilities. It’s a track which looks at the joy of childhood and celebrating the energy of youth. The song delves in to the journey Emma King and her daughter have been on from diagnosis at age 2 through to the challenges the family faces, living non-verbally yet experiencing unconditional love.
