is a Norwegian singer and songwriter who has moved through much of Norwegian music life in recent years. Her work is beyond genre, as the expression is primarily in the communication. In 2012 she received Bærum municipality's cultural grant for further artistic development, and in 2013 Budstikka's scholarship for young artists.
Julie Kleive is active in several projects, and many of her collaborations have led to record releases and concert work at home and abroad, including Shimmering, Synne Sanden, Oslo Chamber Choir, Jenny Augusta and Runar Anderesen. In her duo project, "Olaf and Julie", Kleive has performed her songs for the public on small and larger scenes, including as support for Lillebjørn Nilsen and Ole Paus.
In 2013, Julie Kleive collaborated with Marcus Paus, Hilde Lindset and Joachim Kwetzinsky with performances of what has subsequently been nicknamed "Novelista", the collaboration has continued and the report has been expanded, and in the fall of 2016 the material will be recorded.
Julie Kleive resides in Oslo and is currently completing her master's degree in music therapy at the Norwegian Academy of Music, the summer of 2017, the recording of what will be her first solo album.
